Spiral For a Notepad

Over a month ago I sent this picture to my good friend over at Dos Gatos Design.

I told her how wonky and unstable the spiral on the notepad was. (Some neat little shop in Santa Fe, New Mexico makes and sells these. You would think they would put a sticker with their name on the inside...but, no. However, they are kind enough to put instructions on how to refill...something that is only too logical for me to do without instructions. Oh well! My husband says the world doesn't revolve around me, so I guess I'll just let it go...and the makers of these awesome license plate notepads will go unnamed.)

About a month ago, I got this in the mail.
AWESOME!!! But, as you may or may not know...I was so unruly busy during April, that I only just now, today, got around to trying out the spiral.
And viola! It's a perfect fit and perfectly sturdy! I especially like the way she curled the end of the wire. :) Nice touch!

  1. So glad it worked! Thanks for sharing and including my link;-)

  2. Rebecca! Your stuff is can I not brag about you! :)

  3. Is that an actual license plate? Cool! Thanks for your kind comment on my blog!

  4. Yep! It's an actual license plate. I buy one from this place every time I live in a new state. I mentioned, I have a slight problem of not remembering their company name or location in Santa Fe, NM...I need to get a West Virginia one. Pretty cool, huh! :)
